The Patricia Ann Jackson Memorial Scholarship Fund was established May 12, 1999 by Vivian E. Jackson, Shirley Johnson, the late Yvonne Jones, Willie Herny and Carla Jackson. The scholarship was established to support an eligible high school student who is a member of the Gillis family to pursue and advance his/her education at a college or university. The first recipient to receive the scholarship was in August 2000.
